
Science Communication Awards - The program will confer 24 awards totaling $640,000. These awards will go to individuals who were working at the frontlines of science communication or journalism who have developed creative, original work that addresses issues and advances in science, engineering, or medicine for the general public, and who are in career stages or settings where the recognition could have a significant impact on their future career.

RCCN Pilot Award - The RCCN seeks to fund at least two collaborative pilot, planning, or meeting grants supporting interdisciplinary research in cross cutting theme areas per grant cycle. Each award will provide up to $65,000 in direct costs. The proposals must include investigators affiliated with at least two different NIA Centers Programs (AITCs, Shock, Roybal, Older American Independence Centers (Pepper), Resource Centers for Minority Aging Research, Centers for Demography and Economics of Aging, and Alzheimer's Disease Research Centers). 2025 Clin-STAR Aging Research Development and Training Awards - Only Early Stage Investigators are eligible to apply for the Clin-STAR awards, including investigators with an MD and/or a range of other clinical, doctoral-level degrees (e.g., an individual with a PhD in Occupational Therapy would be eligible). Post-doctoral candidates are not eligible for the Clin-STAR award at this time.
