Sarah Peskoe, PhD joins the Aging Center as Director of the Data Science and Statistics Lab

We are thrilled to announce that Sarah Peskoe, PhD has joined the Duke Aging Center as the new director of the Data Science and Statistics (DSS) Lab, as of March  1st, 2023.  Dr. Peskoe is a faculty member in the Duke Department of Biostatistics & Bioinformatics, and has most recently been Assistant Director of the Biostatistics, Epidemiology, and Research Design (BERD) Methods Core.

Dr. Peskoe’s arrival marks the beginning of a season of change for the Aging Center DSS Lab as we prepare for Dr. Carl Pieper’s upcoming retirement from the Lab in August 2023.  Dr. Pieper has been the director of the DSS Lab and a stalwart presence in the Aging Center for many years, and we will be lauding his career and celebrating him as his departure date draws closer.  We are thankful to have the opportunity for Dr. Pieper and Dr. Peskoe to work side by side over the coming months to ensure a smooth leadership transition.
